Today at the vet my cat was diagnosed with HIV. That came as a complete surprise. Who knew cats could have HIV??? As soon as I heard that, all the health classes I've taken replayed in my head. Anyway, it amazes me how fragile the physical world is! It seems like a lot of people are sick in our generation. I'm sure it's because of our chemically diets and all the drugs people take. I think that eventually people will realize this and begin reverting back to an all-natural, organic diet. I have!!
On Saturday I returned from two weeks at boarding school! It was sad returning but I was excited to escape the white-walled, bare dorm I had been living in. While I was in Seattle, I went to a friend's house, and sitting in a decorated, cozy atmosphere with artwork on the walls made me realize how much I missed a "homey" setting. Upon returning home, the simplest things like being able to eat meals when I felt like it made me really happy. Attending the school was a really great experience, though! After spending so much time with the same people, everyone gradually let down their barriers. I miss that open, relaxed feeling with people. It's sometimes challenging for me to open up, especially around people I strongly care about.
My trip also had a domino affect on my parents! Hurray! After letting me go for two weeks and seeing how much I enjoyed my trip, they're letting me charge after a scholarship that would take me to Japan for six whole weeks! I would even attend school and wear a uniform! Pretty cool, huh? I was going this summer, but my parents canceled it. They're so suffocatingly protective!
O, while I was gone, a friend of my Dad's and his fourteen-year-old son stayed at our house for four days. And the boy slept in my bedroom, under my butterfly and firefly comforter!!! That kinda cracks me up. He was a bit feminine though (he had long hair). Swoon! My type of guy! I didn't know they were coming while I was gone though, so my bedroom was an absolute mess when I left. While I was packing for Seattle, I left tons of clothes on the floor. My first reaction was, "Did you clean my room!?" Thankfully, my sister was like "Of course!" Whew!! Anyway, before I left I burned sage in my room to clear the energy and meditated, so he told my Dad my bedroom was "sublime." I asked my sister about all the details, and she said he spend most of his time in my bedroom. While listening to rock music on the radio he kept on yelling "Wooo Hooo!" I laughed so hard when I heard this! I can just imagine my sister (who's bedroom is adjacent to mine)remarking "What the heck?"
After Seattle, I brought back more angel and fairy pictures. The fairy picture is a copy by Amy Brown! Apparently a lot of girls at ACMA like that artist!
Anyway, bye for now! I off to a third-world country, Grenada, for two weeks starting tomorrow! Italy was horrible because my parents were so stressed out, so this time I'm going to tag along with my cousin. See ya! ^_^
